What a perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon…The New York Botanical Garden.
The perennial gardens…barely blooming but still beautiful…
Entering the garden…
The Enid Haupt Conservatory…
Azaleas just starting to bloom…
More Azaleas and Dogwoods…
Crabapples almost at their peak…
This weekend was the grand opening celebration of the new Native Plant Garden…they really did an beautiful job on this project, with wooden walkways winding their way around a stunning pond through gardens and meadows filled with plants all native to the Northeastern United States.
I have said it here before, but I cannot say it enough…The New York Botanical Garden is one of New York City’s gems…add it to your “must see” list for your next trip to the city!

Gorgeous! If such beauty was captured with your phone, I can't imagine what a glorious day it was! I spent the weekend in the NC mountains participating in a half marathon (very hilly, terrible, yes, I questioned my sanity :))…the temperature didn't rise above 40…and it was rained the whole time. My point: jealous of your Sunday. Hope all is well with you.
