As we all enjoy the holiday today with our families celebrating the beginning of summer, let’s pause and remember the true meaning of Memorial Day…to honor those who lost their lives on behalf of our country.
My father is buried at Arlington Cemetery. Each Memorial Day, every grave is adorned with a flag in honor of those who served. I know he would like that…

Sandy, I am in awe.
All of us should remember our military and their families today with respect & honor as well as our prayers. God holds your father close, I know.

God Bless Your Father! My dad is a veteran and I have so much respect for our service men and women who have fought for our freedom. Arlington Cemetery does a beautiful job every holiday of commemorating our heros. I'm sure your dad is smiling from above.

Both my parents and my husband were in the military and are buried at
Riverside National Cemetery.
Every Memorial day each grave site is also adorned with a flag..
God bless your Father.. I keep all in the military in my prayers.

Sandy, blessings to you and your family. Your father, as well as all of the soldiers buried in Arlington, are hero's for their time and their sacrifice.
I pray daily for the men and women in every branch of the government that protect and serve our country…there are many unsung heros.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
