The view from my room at the Bellagio at the 2014 Virtuoso Travel Week
Happy Saturday everyone!!! I hope all of you are enjoying a fun summer weekend filled soaking up the sun at your nearby beach or pool! Today, I am heading west to the desert – not your typical summer vacation, but then again, this isn’t a vacation for me – I am headed to Virtuoso Travel Week at the Bellagio Las Vegas!!! Some refer to it as the “Super Bowl” of travel, while others compare it to Fashion Week. My best analogy is the comparison to the High Point Furniture Market or the Atlanta Gift Show – Virtuoso Travel Week is where I am going to “shop” for all my clients travel dreams! My week is filled with meetings, cocktail parties and dinners – all with hoteliers, tour operators, cruise lines and other travel suppliers. It is mecca for luxury travel advisors and I cannot wait! Last year I missed it because of my broken arm, so I have been counting the days until this year’s event.

Have a fabulous time, lady! We must have a phone date when you get back. There is so much to catch up on in all things travel. I can see my hotel from July in Positano in your photograph–swoon! Truly, one of my favorite spots ever! All the romance is true!
