The cherry blossoms will be at their peak in Washington this weekend…aren’t they gorgeous? Washington is my favorite city in the United States…and it is never more beautiful than in the springtime when the tidal basin bursts with pink blooms.

WOW!!! I may be going there on Sunday with my son, and would love to capture them in all their glory….spectacular!
So pretty, Sandy! Like fluffy pink clouds or cotton candy. I'd love to go DC during cherry blossom time – I've only traveled there for work which mostly centered on the Nordstrom Tysons Corner Center. Would love to go back and see more of the city than the inside of a mall!

I have only 2 cherry blossoms in my home and truly in love with what little I have, but I agree, the cherry blossoms in the capital are just magical! Wish I could see them in person too!
Oh my friend, well, first of all, I'm dreaming of being WELL. I have severe vertigo, and I can't bear not being able to drive to work or even feel right. But these photos are proof that there is HOPE. Life comes back after dormancy, and healing in some form or another does return after a bout of illness. This brings back such great memories of our being in D.C. for the cherry blossom peak a couple of years ago. If I never get back (and I certainly hope I do), I feel like we nailed it!

Can you imagine Sandy, just how wonderful that would be? Another place I would love to wander amongst cherry blossoms is Japan. It is a dream to one day to travel just to see the gardens.
