Happy Friday! One of the best parts of my job is living vicariously through the trips I plan for my clients. I have the loveliest group of five couples headed to Lake Como after a wedding in May. After planning their trip, it has moved to the top of my list (which just keeps getting longer and longer). On this cold winter day (for most of us in the United States except all of you lucky west coast readers), I am sharing my favorite Pinterest images for beautiful Lago di Como. SO Beautiful! We stayed at a hotel there for a couple of nights and it was beautiful. That shot of the boat made me wonder if you could visit by boat, do people cruise there by boat, anchor, moor? It would be great way to explore the lake to enjoy all of that beauty from the water side.

Lake Como is fabulous . I spent 10 days on the Lakes a few years ago ,. Absolutely splendid. You can use the Passenger ferry to get around and see all the lovely little towns and villages too. I stayed in Argegno. Last year I went to Lecco to see the Formula one with a Formula tour company. We had a lovely family hotel , it was wonderful . Cannot recommend it enough.!!

This is HEAVEN ON EARTH. I have been to Italy, and I hope one day to get back soon…and THIS is the place I want to see. I have seen gorgeous spots in Europe, but never this one. It's like what I think eternity would be like….vibrant colors, always sunshine, and water….

Boy do you have me dreaming this morning. We have ice on the ground and snow expected for this afternoon and we certainly aren't used to that in NC…I'll pretend I'm in Lake Como!!
I have been to Lake Como and it is so magical and special. The Villas there are so grand and the mountains so majestic. It's truly a magical place.
