Happy Friday!! I am writing this post on my iPad from a hotel room…no, I am not wandering to some exotic location…I am in my own town. Unfortunately, a horrible thunderstorm (in February!) with high winds knocked out the power to our home on Wednesday night and the power still has not been restored. I am not much of a “roughing it” kind of girl so we decamped to the Hyatt. It is amazing how even staying at a hotel less than 10 miles from your home can feel like a mini vacation – drinks in the bar, room service, and a comfy bed – I am not complaining too much. Maybe the power should go out more often (okay, I will not go that far!)
Now on to my featured hotel property for today…
I am thrilled to have just booked this truly stunning resort, The Grace Bay Club, for a client who is traveling in June. While this resort is quite pricey during the peak season, it is really quite reasonable in the “shoulder season”, especially when you book a “stay three nights, get the fourth night free” deal being offered right now.
In addition to a free night offer, I can also add VIP amenities from Virtuoso for clients booking through me. Wouldn’t you just love to sip a cocktail at their “Infiniti Bar” – the longest bar in the Caribbean??
Cheers to your weekend…wherever you may be wandering…
xoxo

I love Turks and Caicos and that hotel is beautiful! We haven't stayed there but we have eaten dinner there and had drinks at that amazing bar.

Hope your power is back on soon, Sandy. Even room service gets old after a while…Although in the gorgeous hotel you've shown here, I'd be willing to suffer through it!

I don't feel TOO sorry for you, staying at the Hyatt. I guess all the Starwood properties were booked. (heehee) Turks and Caicos is Kelly Ripa's favorite place. She probably stays here. This place looks gorgeous. It's going to be 17 degrees here tonight. I could use some T&C! Hope your power comes back on soon.

Dearest Sandy, I hope your power has been restored? Yes, those storms are very unusual at this time of year! Well, you are a great wanderer and wonderer, and you again have inspired with these lush photos. I hope all turns out well for you! Anita

Sandy, hope you are having a great morning and that your power comes back on soon. We are having a few issues of our own, out heat downstairs went off, the upstairs is fine. Hopefully that will be fixed today.
