I can’t wait to read the various lists published each year by magazines detailing the finest hotels in the world. But the one I really wait for every year is bible for Virtuoso – their annual “Best of the Best” issue. I received my copy in the mail last week and I have been savoring all 634 pages of it ever since.
For all the other travel nuts out there, here is a digital version just for you!
A few of my highlights for this year’s issue…
The best explanation on one page of what a Virtuoso Travel Advisor can do for their clients:
This year’s winners of the “Best of the Best” awards…
I love how they feature unique experiences at various destinations around the world, in addition to showcasing their hotel properties…
What is on your “Best of the Best” list?? I would love to hear your favorite hotels and travel experiences from around the world!!!

Good morning dearest Sandy! WOW those photos are so well put together to invite anyone to DREAM or actually go there. I am in the dream category on traveling since our traveling is very sparse. But if I could, I'd go back to my beloved France and ALSO England. Have a super day! Anita

With the snow coming, we'll enjoy leafing through the pages of Virtuoso's new issue and dream about far away places… One of our favorite spots is The Cavallo Point Inn across the bay from San Francisco. We had the best massages ever there!

Sandy,
These lists look fabulous! I love the Ritz on Amelia Island. Love the Star Pass Resort in Tuscon, the Homestead, the Greenbrair, the Carolina at Pinehurst, a few of which I mentioned the other day.
We are bracing for the storm, not too concerned for the cold, snow/ice…worried about the power outages. I hope that you stay in and stay safe. I am sorry that you had to cancel your trip, my niece is there now on a high school trip and we are hoping that they get out tomorrow and back home to the Midwest.
Have you been reading or watching anything interesting? Do share.
Hugs to you, Elizabeth

Ashford Castle is definitely on our "must visit" list. But how did I not know that there is a Four Seasons on the Walt Disney World property?! Have a wonderful weekend and thanks again for all your help!

Great post, Sandy. I forwarded it to the Mr. I would love to visit the one in County Mayo, since that is my family's home country. I didn't even know that the Four Seasons in Disney was open yet. Great post.
