Hmmm, I can't think of a #1 ultimate. We did French Polynesia on Paul Gauguin a few years ago to celebrate our 10th anniversary and that was so spectacular we want to do it again! I'd love to take a trip to Paris, maybe a week with cooking classes in Tuscany, the Amalfi coast…too many!!!!! I faithfully follow you on Instagram and I'd love to win this book for my mother for Christmas but if not, I'm buying it anyway!

I think #1 destination for me right now has to be Iceland, years ago I never took an interest in the country, but after reading so much on the internet and seeing all of the great pictures, I would love to go there and explore!! It looks absolutely magical! ๐ x

Wow you chose some winners….I see a few my dad would love and then of course a few for me:) I love the idea of books as gifts, everyone enjoys them and you can really personalize it depending on the recipient. Great ideas!!

What a fun list, Sandy! You are definitely sharing some exellent gift ideas. Interesting you should mention Marlena DiBlasi. I was just finishing my first book of hers while visiting Kauai several years ago. I went back to read the forward and realized it was dedicated to a childhood friend of mine who is now an editor living in London/Italy. I had visited with my friend in London just a few years back. It is such a small world, isn't it?
Thanks for your kind comments on my wine country post. We are both such fans.

Great list–thank you! Miscellany of Curious Maps for my husband, and the travel journal for me.
I hope Greece and Italy are in our future. I took Greco-Roman History from an incredible high school teacher and would enjoy seeing everything first-hand. Of course, my heart is in India–I love her people, sights and sounds!
