Happy Friday!!! Sometimes the weekend just can’t come soon enough…this week was that way for me. I have been longing for the Spring weather, only to find myself holed up in my office at the computer – busy, busy, busy!! I am definitely NOT complaining – just ready for some relaxation and a little sunshine.
Here’s what is on my radar screen this week…
I enjoyed this New York Times article featuring different writers sharing their favorite streets in twelve different European cities. Do you have a favorite street in a particular city? My favorites are the Via Margutta in Rome and Rue du Bac in Paris.

An Ode to Provence from Tina of The Enchanted Home is one of my favorite blog posts EVER (and that is saying a lot because my fellow bloggers publish some pretty memorable posts)…I was ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the beauty of this post, only to find that Tina so thoughtfully recommended my travel advisory services at the end of the post. She is such a sweetheart! I will be more than happy to plan a trip to Provence (or anywhere) for anyone interested!

You probably won’t find this apartment on AirBnB any time soon…but how swoon-worthy is this stunning Paris apartment featured by Albertina of Mimosa Lane?

I would LOVE to partake in one of The French Basketeer‘s incredible French Food Camps! I am missing the May class by a mere five days when I am in San Diego next month – I would SO have driven to Laguna to participate. Add that to my bucket list…along with a flower arranging class at The London Plane in Seattle and one of Sharon Santoni’s Brocante Tours.
Last weekend, we saw Woman in Gold – have you seen it yet? Helen Mirren is such an amazing actress and the movie is excellent – two thumbs up from me! I recently visited the Neue Galerie in New York and saw the actual painting by Gustav Klimt featured in the movie – remarkable!
So, that’s a wrap for this week…have an absolutely beautiful weekend, my dears…wherever you may be wandering…
xoxo

Good morning Sandy,
Great minds do indeed think alike! Provence is one of my favorite places to visit and Tina's post had it all. A beautiful reminder of what a social place it is.
I am heading over to check out your post I am sure it is magical!
I have The Woman in a Gold on my lust, it looks like an interesting movie. Not to mention Helen Mirian is fabulous is everything she is in.
I too have a class by the French Basketeer on my dream list, great food, setting and instructor what more could you ask for. I also want to learn from Mimi of Manger as well.
I hope that you have a relaxing weekend, maybe you will see some Spring soon. It is chilly here and windy.
Take care, xoxo

Hi Sandy! I always love seeing what's on your radar. I'm so behind on my NYT stories – time to get reading. And now I have something else to put on my bucket list – love the idea of French Food Camp. And yes, can we get you out here for a London Plane class, please? Happy weekend, friend! XOXO

No wonder I adore you, Sandy…we have SO much in common! Besides our love of travel, Rue Du Bac is my favorite street in Paris, too. Scott and I usually stay in the 6th right near there. I will be in San Diego this week and will clearly miss seeing you there by just days. Can you believe it? That cooking class sounds amazing…someday! Thanks so much for linking up with #STYLEfocus for our inaugural run! The response was so fab we will definitely be doing it again. I love that all lifestyle bloggers are invited since we are building connections. Thanks for being part and sharing the love!
Happy Sunday Sandy!
xx
