After three days living the high life in Beverly Hills, it was time to hit the beach! We hopped in the car and made the short trip south to Laguna Beach. After our pitch perfect stay at the Montage Beverly Hills, I couldn’t wait to experience their original property, the
Montage Laguna Beach.

Let me tell you…the Montage company has the luxury hotel experience figured out in every respect. We traded a gorgeous city hotel for a stunning oceanfront resort, but the service was equally as impressive at Laguna Beach as it was in Beverly Hills. And, just as I had hoped, the Montage Laguna Beach, was the quintessential California oceanfront resort at its very finest.
The pictures of the property speak louder than my words ever could…sit back and enjoy a virtual tour of the beautiful Montage Laguna Beach…

While we were in Laguna, we also visited the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel, a few miles down the coast highway. We have stayed there before and really enjoyed the location. This time we went to have drinks and watch the sunset. With a spectacular location above Salt Creek Beach, the Ritz Carlton also has remarkable vistas up and down the coast.
If you are planning a trip to Southern California, make sure you include a few days at one of these spectacular properties to enjoy the beach! I wish we could have stayed longer, but we were due in our next destination…San Diego…our son, Christopher’s, adopted home!

Well, everyone who doesn't live there wants to be there, don't we?
I lived in Beverly Hills for awhile, but missed Texas so bad I had to move back. I love the California coast line all the way up & down, and this place is lovely. I think the RC is a tad formal for the beachside, at least to me, so I prefer this one. xx's

You are clearly selling me a trip to Cali with your amazing stories and truly glorious images, Sandy. I am going to have to start my own sales pitch on Mr D over wine and cheese this weekend!
I normally visit you from my desk for a lunch time escape. I couldn't wait for lunch today.
