It is 83 degrees and sunny in Laguna Niguel, California today. It is 45 degrees here in Connecticut and everyone is talking about how warm it is compared to last week. Remind me again why I live here?
Recently, one of my favorite bloggers, Tina, from The Enchanted Home, returned from a vacation at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel. It is one of my all time favorite hotels and her post reminded me all over again why I love it so much. Southern California is definitely high on our list of 2014 travel plans…I just have to make sure a few days at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel are part of our itinerary.

This is cruel….I SO want to be back!!!!! I love it there and the weather is perfection. Funny my husband kept saying the whole time too "why does anyone want to live in NY when they can live here". It is so beautiful and I hope you will get the chance to go….you won't be sorry! Enjoy your day:)

Ahhh, warm breezes, the crash of the surf, sand between my toes. Thanks for taking me there today Sandy, even if it's only in my imagination!
Happy Wednesday! XOXO

Funny, I JUST left a
comment on that post!
My daughter goes to
college about 20 minutes
from Laguna Beach. It is
a beautiful area that really
does capture the heart : )
That said, I was cross country
skiing on one of the many
lakes in our area this week,
and I was captivated by the
snowy beauty. Every place in
our beautiful country has its
own sort of loveliness–aren't
we lucky?
Hugs,
xo Suzanne

I live in So CA & do love the lack of snow & cold but I'm trying to get Christmas stuff put away this week & it's 90 degrees- just doesn't feel right & seems like there might be a happy medium somewhere.

Hello Sandy-These images are gorgeous. It is so warm here in California-even Northern Cal.-that we are needing the rain. That said-it feels like spring and I always love that time of year. My husband and I just returned from a New Year's trip to LA/Santa Monica and Newport Beach. Looooved it! Had so much fun checking out places I used to haunt in my late 20's when I lived there. I'll be posting on that trip shortly. Love your photos and thanks for your fun comments on Stylemindchic. It's so much fun to follow your blog and see where we will end up next. ๐

Oh Laguna Niguel is one of the first "fancy" beaches I ever went to when I got my first car! My girlfriend and I would go there and just dream….dream of living there!
I am so late for my trip here with you dear friend…is there still room for me on your tour bus?

While the Mister and I lived out in Cal – he worked at Torrey Pines, my parents came out every Christmas. We would always go to this gorgeous hotel for lunch the week after. This is one of my favorite hotels. Thanks for taking me back for a quick visit!

I haven't been to this Ritz but it looks fabulous. Northern CA is so warm this winter, it feels like spring already so I can only imagine how lovely it would be in SoCal. Such beautiful pictures! Inspiring a road trip for us perhaps:-)

Hi, Sandy! Just came across your blog today and I find this post really nice ๐ Your pictures are fantastic, but luxury holiday destinations like the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel is something I have to really save up for. I hope you get to visit it again this year ๐
