Happy Friday! Let’s run off to California today to soak up some old Hollywood glamour…what better place to do that than the iconic Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire…another of my all time favorite hotels.
The Beverly Wilshire combines California sophistication and old world charm, with the legendary Four Seasons service…a winning mix.
You can’t find a better location in LA – it is right at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Boulevard.
There are two guest room wings at the Beverly Wilshire – the original Wilshire wing and the newer Beverly wing – I love the high ceilings and thick mouldings in the rooms in the Wilshire wing, while others may prefer the more modern look of the Beverly wing.
Which do you prefer – classic and traditional or sophisticated and modern?
Do you have a favorite hotel? I would love to hear about it!
I am heading to Vegas today – I hope to bring back a wealth of travel knowledge to share with all of you. In the meantime, please bear with me as I will have precious little time to keep up with the blogging world while I am away. I had hoped to prepare some posts ahead of time, but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen, so I will be back in a week with a ton of information about the latest travel trends direct from the source!!
What happens in Vegas…
…will be passed along to you when I return!
Here’s to a weekend filled with everything you love…wherever you may be wandering…
xoxo

Sandy, It would be tough to choose between traditional and contemporary – I think I'd have to spend a few nights in each!
Have a safe trip to Vegas. Looking forward to hearing all about it! XOXO

Always love your friday favorites. Enjoy Vegas and learning the latest travel trends.
We stayed at 21C while we were in KY, to make our trip a little more fun since the circumstances were sad.
We always enjoy staying at unique spots.

I have been here many times but sadly not recently. I've eaten here and attended events but never stayed overnight. Beautiful images of a grand place.

Oh Sandy, I am so late! I am finding that my days before going back to school are consumed…but what a getaway it is to always find your posts. This one is particularly special to me because as a teen, I used to peruse Rodeo Dr with my friends, we'd go up and down Wilshire Blvd to end up in Santa Monica, and even back then as a kid I appreciated the old architecture of Hollywood's golden years. When we were in L.A. this past Christmas, we drove past all these places and not much has changed.
Have a super weekend! Anita

I can't wait to hear all about your Vegas trip! I'm sure that you will come back with all sorts of ideas that will be added to my "Must Travel To" list! I'm partial to the more modern look although I do appreciate old charm as long as it doesn't come with old plumbing!

Am loving this hotel for a future family Cali visit!!! Gorgeous! Quite honestly, I would be happy in either wing. 🙂
Have the most amazing time in Vegas. I know you are meeting so many amazing people and getting fantastic ideas for future trip planning. Can't wait to see what we plan together next!
