Nobody is more representative of luxury travel than Louis Vuitton. So when they chose “The Spirit of Travel” for the Spring/Summer 2014 advertising campaign, I knew it would be pretty incredible.

Sandy,
Many years ago, I was fortunate to see a showing of vintage Vuitton and oh my goodness – "Travel certainly was much more glamorous than today!"
I remember wearing a suit on the plane on my honeymoon.
Let's bring back spirited travel and stylish travel.

Sandy,
I know that you are off today on another adventure so I wish you a safe and happy trip!
I love the "golden age" of travel, everything seemed so much more refined and dignified!
Louis Vuitton certainly does exemplify that age when travel was indeed and adventure.
Have a wonderful day, looking forward to hearing all about your trip!
I agree, 'my favorite place is where I've never been to". 🙂
I look like that when I travel, long gowns, see thru dresses.. . :)Lovely narrative though, and beautiful. of course. Love the animals! xo Nancy
lovely editorial!! My grandmother used to tell me that when she was young they would spend 6 months talking about the upcoming trip, then they would actually go on the trip, and then for the next six months they would dissect every detail of said trip. It's so different now. Can you imagine traveling with those beautiful trunks!! Amazing!
They certainly did capture the spirit of travel. Years ago when fewer people travelled it definitely seemed to be more glamorous.
Dearest Sandy, I am so late….just popping in to say hello before I run off to work. Anita
