Happy Friday!! This has been a VERY busy week for me…my new saying is “when it rains, it pours and when it snows, people plan vacations”! I do love my work – there is nothing better than helping to create a dream vacation for people. However, when I get busy, the one thing that seems to fall by the wayside is my time for reading and commenting on my friends’ blogs. Hopefully, I will be able to catch up a bit this weekend.
If this picture of a hillside in Positano doesn’t help you shake off the winter blues, I don’t now what will!

For those of you who are not on my business mailing list (click on the sidebar to be added), I sent out my monthly newsletter this week with some excellent travel deals and suggestions you might enjoy.
Here are a few things on my radar screen this week…(I apologize for the heavy emphasis on all things Parisian – I guess when I wasn’t dreaming of that beach in Positano in the photo above, I was dreaming of Paris a little too much this week!)

Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly share another post about Paris, I saw this post on La Tour Eiffel by Elizabeth from Pine Cones and Acorns…How could I not share it?!
And just so you don’t think I have turned into a complete Franchophile…

Emily from Splendid Market shares an oldie but a goodie for The Pink Pagoda’s “Blue and White Bash” about a stunning home she visited in Mexico. The shades of blue are breathtaking!
We went to see “The Monuments Men” last night…it was very good. With a cast including George Clooney, Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray and John Goodman, and a fascinating true story about saving the greatest art in the world from the Nazis, how could it not be? I give it two thumbs up!
Finally, don’t forget to enter the giveaway for a copy of Paris Letters and a lovely illustrated snail mail letter from Janice MacLeod. The lucky winner will be announced next Friday – Valentine’s Day!
Have a very lovely weekend, my friends…wherever you may be wandering!
xoxo

I've got to see this movie with my favorite actors, and then one day, go BACK to this part of Italy. YOU will be my guide when I do go, dearest Sandy! OH TAKE ME NOW….I so wish!

Hi Sandy, Thank you so much for the shout out! Glad you've enjoyed the photos. I wish we could pack up and head right back again – or maybe somewhere that is enjoying some warmer temperatures, like Emily's Mexico. Now that is some gorgeous blue and white!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and get to relax a bit! XOXO

I was just wondering what movie to catch this weekend since my sons's begging me to go see the LEGO movie (which obviously I'm not too keen about), I could probably get big brother to go with him and me and hubs see this flick!
I can't blame you for being a Franchophile dear, it's everywhere and are just so inspiring. My friend went to Positano last summer and I just truly marveled at the majestic views!

Just in case you still need more of your Franchophile fix – you may want to check out Magali's blog http://thelittlewhitehouseontheseaside.blogspot.com/2014/02/paris-hotel-carnavalet.html
This is part 2 already of her touring us in Paris! Enjoy!

Sandy… great Parisian post! Sent your link again to my non-blog reading friend who is off to a Paris vacation in March. Do you believe there are actually people who don't read blogs? Oh what they're missing. Have a wonderful weekend. Hopefully it won't include snow!! PS I put my Hotel Stories book on my coffee table.

I never tire of visiting Paris or seeing images of this wonderful city. I've just popped here from Jeanne's blog. Those accessories with the French phrases are perfect gifts – I know I would be happy with any one of them!

Oh, Sandy, never feel that you must apologize for too much Paris! There is no such thing as too much! I love those little zipper pouches. I might have to pick up a couple of those: one for me and one for the Mall of Mom. Seems like the perfect last minute gift!
