Happy Friday!!! I am not sure why this week has been so busy but it has flown by and there are still many things left on my “to do” list. I did, however, read many wonderful posts by my fellow bloggers (don’t think just because I haven’t commented, I haven’t read them – comments are on said “to do” list!). Here are a few of my favorite “wandering” posts this week…I hope you discover some you haven’t read before:

From the incredibly cool, unique and new to me blog, Messy Nessy Chic, check out this amazing vintage envelope art.
via All The Buildings In New York |
Also, through Messy Nessy Chic I also discovered the drawings and blog of James Gulliver Hancock, an illustrator who is attempting to draw every building in New York City. Check out his blog here and if you love it you can pre-order his book with his drawings so far here.
Paris in Color Notes via Obvious State |
If you love the book Paris in Color, by Nichole and Evan Robertson of Obvious State as much as I do, then you will want to go out immediately and buy the Paris in Color Note Cards that are now available in store.

Did you know the other day was “Macaron Day” in Paris? Every Pierre Herme store gave away three macarons to anyone willing to stand in line for them. For the intrepid few that manage to go to every Pierre Herme shop in Paris, there is a surprise waiting at the end. Amy from God, I Love Paris did exactly that three years ago and wrote about it here. I still haven’t managed to satisfy my macaron craving since I did the giveaway two weeks ago and this post did NOT help!
Perfect Travel Wardrobe via Splenderosa |
The age old question of the perfect travel wardrobe is such a conundrum…I have written about and tried to put it into practice (easier said than done). I read two excellent posts this week about packing for travel that contain some of the most practical advice I have found yet. Check out Marsha from Splenderosa’s Splenderosa’s post and Une Femme‘s post for Already Pretty.
via Calling It Home |
Finally, on the “home front”, my lovely friend, Linda of Calling It Home and several other design bloggers just completed an amazing six week long journey called the One Room Challenge. Linda’s transformation of her entry hall is nothing short of genius. Scroll to the bottom of her post to see all the other design wizards that participated in this challenge. It is remarkable to see what these women have accomplished in a mere six weeks…make sure you grab a cup of coffee and get ready because all of these posts will have you spending hours admiring their incredible decorating skills and wishing you could magically make over your home (although they did it through hard work, not magic!).
Have an amazing weekend, wherever you may be wandering!!
