After all our talk about Italy last week, I was really craving some delicious Italian food. Most of you know that my love of food goes hand in hand with my love of traveling. But, something you may not know about me is that another of my passions is cooking.

I began this blog when our youngest left for college leaving us with an “empty nest”. I really miss having the family gathered around the dinner table and the time I used to spend in the kitchen preparing our family meals. For many reasons, I haven’t yet mastered the concept of “cooking for two” as much as I would have liked.
However, I did recently make a new recipe for Risotto with Spinach, Mushrooms and Bacon that was so good that I really want to share it with all of you.
Since I haven’t completely satisfied my Italian food cravings, I am going to make this recipe for Ravioli with Sage Butter tonight from Leslie over at Around the Table. If you haven’t checked out her blog, definitely DO…it’s a feast for your eyes and her new cooking videos are straight out of the Food Network.
You May Be Wandering will not be turning into a cooking blog any time soon but when I discover something wonderful, whether it is a travel tip, a new product or a recipe, I can’t help but share the love…Enjoy!

Oh, travel and recipes…heavenly combo…you share whatever you'd like! That ravioli looks wonderful, too, can't wait to hear what you think. I registered at W-S for tools to make your own pasta, including ravioli (figured I could master something like ravioli), so I'm collecting recipes! And tips!
Happy Monday.

I knew coming here was going to make me hungry just by the title:) Risotto…ugh, you are killing me because I LOVE it! And i am on a major diet, so risotto doesn't have a place in it:(
I am going to copy the recipe though for future safekeeping…looks and sounds great, and its a great dish for guests!

Be still my inner Italian. Food and travel are the perfect combination. I love eating. Don't worry about the kids, they always come back.
