I love everything about Sofia Blanc de Blancs Sparkling Wine from Coppola Vineyards. Not only is it delicious, but the packaging and bottle are simply gorgeous!

How pretty is this? The pink cellophane wrapping was inspired by peonies!
When famed movie director and winemaker, Francis Coppola’s daughter, Sofia, was a little girl, he made her a promise that he would someday make a sparkling wine and name it after her. His kept his promise and created this sparking wine for her wedding. The winemaker is adamant that the signature pink cellophane remain on the bottle as it is poured.
According to Coppola Vineyards, “Fruity and refreshing, Sofia Blanc de Blancs is a rare blend of Pinot Blanc, Muscat, and Riesling. Mellow flavors of apples and pears are topped by a hint of citrus and honeysuckle. Elegant in character, this wine is lightly textured and vibrant through the finish.”

How much fun is it to sip sparkling wine from a little can with an attached straw?
Sofia Blanc de Blancs is the perfect sparkling wine to share for a wedding shower or special birthday!
Salute!

A VOTRE SANTÉ mon amie! Lovely and every time I see pink champagne, I get thirsty! I was at Korbel vineyards two years ago, and what a lovely place. Champagne tasting left me a bit light-headed with the PINK STUFF at the end of the session. Well-worth the wait!
Hugs! Anita
