Is anyone else enamored with Giada’s new show on The Food Network – Giada in Italy? I am a huge Giada fan – probably not too shocking as you all know I am a complete Italo-phile. Many of my go to recipes are from watching her shows and reading her cookbooks. With her latest show being filmed entirely on the Amalfi Coast, you can imagine that I am completely smitten!

I automatically assumed she was filming from some gorgeous villa that had been in the DeLaurentiis family for generations. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I learned that it was actually filmed at the gorgeous Torre Sponda complex of apartments in Positano, which offers rentals to regular people just like you and me!
There are five separate apartments that share the gorgeous common areas seen above…they range in size from one to five bedrooms with cheerful interiors and terraces with killer views.

The show is a work of 'Italian' art…..very much like the productions of the grandfather. One cannot
just feel dreamy with the surroundings……however, for us it stops there. Most of her recipes seem
like 'on the fly'… Have reproduced many of them with additions sorely needed. Just can't seem to get
into this kind of cooking. Wonderful apartments to rent, a great hideout.

WOW! The vistas and views are so breathtaking, I can imagine waking up every morning and flinging open the windows to that view…fabulous! I did not get her recent book but have tried a few of her recipes which were all winners. She is so cute and I love her happy upbeat spirit…..I am determined to get to Positano, can't believe I haven't been:(

Good morning Sandy! Indeed, the views off the coast of Italy are breathtaking. The colors of the sea mixed with the patina of old houses on the hills, there is nothing like it.I LOVE ITALY TOO!
