Happy Friday! It is hard to believe Thanksgiving is next week! We are having a low-key holiday this year, so I don’t have to spend the weekend preparing. One of my colleagues (Hi Lynn!) is baking 259 pies this weekend – her family farm in Pennsylvania sells them and they already have that many pre-orders.

I am taking a break from sharing the details of our trip to Asia, to return to one of my favorite “regular” posts…On My Radar Screen…sharing my favorites from around the web this week:
Have Some Decorum is a blog I have recently fallen in love with (thanks for telling me about it, Patricia!)…I love her genuine voice – she is an amazing writer with an interesting life story. I especially enjoyed reading about her visit to Coco Chanel’s apartment in Paris!
Beautiful photos of Remembrance Day in London from 5th and State…
A secret movie theater in a hotel from Luxe Adventure Traveler…
A community comes together to save an beloved Connecticut inn…
The latest issue of Virtuoso Life…
What is hitting up on your radar screen these days??
I had hoped to run a giveaway this week, but I have delayed until next Friday – “Black Friday” – the official start to the holiday shopping madness. I will be presenting my version of a Holiday Gift Guide – for the wanderers on your shopping list. And, I will also be giving away a few of my favorite things!
So, even though it is a holiday week be sure to check back next week for my round up of our travels to Singapore and Hong Kong, in addition to the Wanderer’s Gift Guide and Giveaway!
Have a fabulous weekend, my friends…wherever you may be wandering!

Good morning Sandy! Welcome back from such a lovely but probably exhausting trip. I know that when I spent three months traveling and DANCING in Asia in a USO tour, I came home exhausted!
Your share today is lovely, with colors of fall and Thanksgiving so welcoming. I must check out your recommendation for that blog. I always love finding someone whose writing is of exceptional quality.
Well my friend, it's Friday, and am I ever happy. Parent conferences lasted until 8:00 last night, and I'm bushed. Now to get in to teach today, hoping the kids are not as EXCITED as I am that next week, it's a vacation from school! HAPPY DAY! Anita

Hi Sandy! Did you have a fun birthday celebration? Hope it was lovely. Belated Birthday wishes to you. I'm looking forward to checking out all these wonderful things on your radar screen – especially the tour of Coco Chanel's apartment!
We're kind of low key next week, too. Not cooking, picking my parents up and bringing them up to Seattle for an early dinner at our club (it's closer than going all the way to our home) and then after taking them back we'll settle in with some friends for round two. I'm only baking one pie – can't even begin to imagine making more than 200!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! XOXO

Patricia always has great blogs to share so we'll be sure to hop on over. It sounds like you're taking the next week at a relaxed stride and not at a full sprint… We're still trying to get orders out the door before next Thursday! Have a great, relaxing weekend.

Good evening sweet Sandy! Thank you for stopping by tonight…so you too, your Thanksgiving will be quiet and simple? Yes, our loud and fun family holiday gatherings are now probably something I need to preserve in my memoirs, and I have lots to tell. Thank you so much for your friendship my sweet friend! Anita
