Happy Friday! We are now in the midst of “the big thaw” here…it is lovely to have a bit of warmer weather but the melting snow and resulting slush is a bit annoying.
What is everyone up to this weekend? We may go see Winter’s Tale – it is one of my all time favorite books and I am not sure I will love the screen adaptation but I need to see it anyway.
Here are a few things on my radar screen this week…
A Letter to Paris by Debbie at Inspired Design
Being a “tag along wife” by Jeanne at Collage of Life…
A tour of the 10 most extravagant suites in the world…for a mere $600k (yikes!)
Anyone going to the New York Times Travel Show next weekend?
Family Fun from Virtuoso…
Have a fabulous weekend, everyone…wherever you may be wandering!
xoxo

Warm hugs to you Sandy, for always thinking ahead for us! Take me now, to that fabulous beach? We are buried here in more snow that you can imagine; I so hope we are not sending this horrible storm your way!!!!! Love, Anita

Hi Sandy,
Slushfest out there isn't it?!! At least the snow is receding.
So many great links, we'll have to circle back and check them all out. When I asked the boys where they'd like to travel to, Carter mentioned Turks & Caicos. Smart boy.
Today's is Grant's birthday, so I have to slush my way to the city later. Dallas next week — sun!
Enjoy the movie and the weekend!
xoxo Elizabeth

Happy Friday, Sandy! Let us know how the movie is – I've seen both good and bad reviews, so am very curious.
We hope to get out and do a little snow shoeing this weekend (no snow in the Seattle streets but plenty in the mountains, which is the fun kind of snow!) And also maybe an Oscar nominated film since I've seen zero at this point.
Hope you keep your feet dry and enjoy the weekend! XOXO

We are halfway through reading A Winter's Tale and absolutely love the story – we're finding hard to see how it will translate into a movie, though. That terrace in Paris is beyond beautiful!

Hi Sandy, just got back, will tell you all about it:) It was great to be away in the sun and warmth, sorry to rub it in…but I am sure you will get away to somewhere warm and wonderful soon!
Let me know how the movie is, I am so behind and must catch up on several movies I have wanted to see. It is sooo messy and ugly out there, all that dirty snow however no more snow in the near forecast so I am not complaining! Have a great weekend.

Good evening Sandy! Love that beach….if I had a choice of beaches, it would be Navagio in Greece, but these days, any shore in a warm area would do!
Thank you for coming over today with such kind words of friendship! To think that any one of us could be a messenger of good will; now that's a miracle!
BIG HUGS and we do hope to thaw out by NEXT WEEK! Anita

How lucky are we to have you to make these trips a reality! (at the best price of course)
Thanks for your excellent advice. Venice, Florence, Rome are all lined up – what a prelude to a Silversea cruise!
You are a great trip planner, so glad you've gone pro.
