With the “polar vortex” settled firmly atop the vast majority of the United States, pretty much anywhere warm would fulfill my “Wednesday Wanderlust” criteria for today. But, as long as I am fantasizing about somewhere tropical, why not go all out and dream of some place insanely beautiful and over the top luxurious? This is for all my readers who have been holed up in their homes in arctic-like conditions…grab your warm cup of coffee or tea and your imagination…let’s go to Cap Juluca in Anguilla…
SO…Did that warm you up just a bit?
Just let me know when you are ready to head for the tropics…whether it is an island in the Caribbean, a beach in sunny Mexico or a family vacation to Disney, I can take care of all the details for you. All you need to do is show up at the airport with your bathing suit and flip flops!

I'm wishing that the telporter from Star Trek is in existence this very moment Sandy!!!! I want to go there NOW! It's a cool 14F right now where I'm at, and these pictures are just heaven!

The Pacific NW was fortunate to miss out on the polar vortex, but this escape doesn't look any less appealing – especially with the rain beating a steady pattern on the windows! Thanks for the lovey virtual vacation, Sandy. I hope you are staying warm. XO

I feel warmer just looking at this beautiful warm destination!!!
Thought you might like to know that the Four Seasons in Mexico City is a lovely find, especially when you find yourself "stuck" in Mexico City, as we did on our way home from Manzanillo. Lovely spa and workout room, rooftop pool, delicious food and service that was really top notch!!
Tomorrow looks a bit warmer…..relatively speaking! 🙂

Oh, my!
In the 70s, we lived in Jamaica, right on the Caribbean Sea in a gorgeous cottage. We were in the Peace Corps. Our decor wasn't as perfect as what you showed, but the water was glorious as was all the foliage.
Thanks for the virtual tour and a trip down Memory Lane.

I've said it before, there is nothing more beautiful than the colors of nature – the blues are my favorite! Between the serene colors and the soft sounds of the waves, it's no wonder that the beach is one of the most relaxing places on earth!

Sandy,
Oh boy, A gal can dream! I think I married the wrong man, I cannot get him to a warm locale ~ he only wants skiing – love to ski to a beach like that!
