In recognition of the Oscars this coming weekend, I am sharing some of my favorite movies that either are about traveling or are take place somewhere I would love to travel…a combination of two of my favorite things!
Enjoy my choices…they are everything from classics to comedies, in no particular order. I am sure there are many I have completely forgotten and others I have never seen, so please share your favorites with me!

Oh my….every single OLDER movie here, I have seen hundreds of times, from Audrey to Cary. Love them all. But Midnight in Paris and the Talented Mr. Ripley are my all-time favs for the modern movies. I wonder; I am going to be in L.A. the first week of March! I WONDER IF I WILL BE THERE FOR THE OSCARS! When I was growing up in L.A., it never occurred to me to even go down Hollywood Blvd to do some star gazing!
Have a great week my dear, Anita

I am so dying to see a lot of the older movies you mention with Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. I really liked "Midnight in Paris" and "The Talented Mr. Ripley".
One of my favorites is a cute little movie called, "French Kiss" , with Meg Ryan, Kevin Kline and Timothy Hutton.
I just found your blog and I am now a follower!
