Is anyone else feeling like May is starting to rival December in terms of being one of the busiest months of the year? I was traveling the beginning of the week and then I had to fit a week’s worth of work into just two short days. I am ready for the weekend!!
Two of my favorite days of the year are this weekend – Derby Day AND Mother’s Day!!!

Don’t you just LOVE this illustration by my friend, Patricia (aka PVE!)? Why not celebrate both big events this weekend with a mint julep?
Before I move on to the items pinging my radar this week, I want to wish my mom a very Happy Mother’s Day! She reads my blog religiously and I want her to know how much I appreciate her support and how very much I love her! She is (and always has been) my role model in every aspect of my life – thank you, Mom!
Here is what is on my radar screen this week…
The fabulous Faena Miami Beach as shared by my friend and client, Elizabeth, from Pretty Pink Tulips…
A hilarious post on the etiquette of flying, by my blog buddy, Mocadeaux…be sure to read the comments as well…
A bucket list for eating your way through Europe…I think I have tried everything on this list at least once!
On traveling solo…I would love to hear your stories about solo travel – yea or nay?
On one recent Jet Blue flight, crying babies were applauded as heroes…I knew there was a reason, I love Jet Blue so much!
Who wants to intern in Paris? I wish I was a college student again – I would be begging for this internship!
If you missed my post on “growing” a vacation, check it out here and tune in on Tuesday for Part Two…
Cheers to a fabulous weekend, whether you are celebrating Mother’s Day, Derby Day or BOTH…wherever you may be wandering…
xoxo

Happy Mothers Day to you Sandy and to your mom as well! She seems like a very special woman and I am sure that she feels very blessed to have you for a daughter.
Love your links! I have eaten my way through Europe, and have traveled alone many times in Europe. I think that there are times when it is a little lonely, but what a great learning experience.
I would love to be the intern in Paris this summer, I saw that last week and thought it sounded like a wonderful adventure for someone.!
I am off to cheek out your other links. Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend!
xo Elizabeth
