It is hard to believe that Memorial Day weekend is in two days…in our little corner of New England, it feels like Spring has barely arrived, so we aren’t quite ready for summer yet. However, Memorial Day will always signify the beginning of summer to me, and, as such, I would like nothing better to spend it at the beach…any of these would do just fine…

I will probably have to bundle up a bit, but I hope to at least get in a walk at the beach here in Greenwich this weekend! It doesn’t look like any of these, but it is still beautiful. I promise to share pictures next week!

YES to any of these…beautiful! I am by far my happiest at the beach. We may or may not carry on with our plans, if my sons team wins tonight (fingers crossed) we have to be around for practices all weekend which will mean going to "plan B" as long as the sun shines..I will be fine!

Oh yes, the beach is my favorite place Sandy and though it still might be chilly in your part of the world, the views will still be fantastic and relaxing!
I'll be fishing with some friends and enjoying a good barbecue for sure!
The beach is always a great place to spend time during summer. Any beach will do. I just hope the weather will cooperate too.

Summer? Who knew with the current state of weather affairs. But you know, in a matter of seconds, we will be having a heat wave and searching for the the lightest tunic or body of water to quench our thirst to chill.
I think the start of Summer has always been a time to plan my Summer reading and to unpack my summer beach bag. Hat, sunscreen, towel, book, flip flops and ready to travel to the beach. All your images are making me ready.

Sweet Sandy! I am so late…too tied up with school but it will be done in two weeks! YAHHHOOOOOOO!
These scenes are calling me, and unfortunately, we will not be going to Carmel this year, but I will be going to Paris next summer with high school students. Hmmm……but my husband will meet me there after my stint with the kids.
Meanwhile, I'm dreaming from my home in Minneapolis!
