Since I didn’t do an “On My Radar Screen” post last week, I have two weeks worth of goodies to share with you…so here goes…

I was searching for an image to start this post and found this amazing map by Antoine Corbineau featuring all the regional products of Italy! Go here to see more of his work.
A modern day fairy tale: Taking to Twitter to find the prince charming (who was sitting next to you on the plane)…
Via My French Country Home |
Sharon Santoni from My French Country Home has begun a new series called “Step by Step ~ Paris” where she shares her expert knowledge of Paris, arrondissement by arrondissement, with stunning photos and her insider tips. Be sure to follow along each week…this week was the ever so lovely 1st.
Via I Dream Of |
Did you catch the posts for the wonderful monthly By Invitation Only international group of bloggers? This select group picks a different theme every month and they all write about the same thing…this month they wrote about a topic near and dear to my heart…the five things you would take on a luxury cruise. My faves were the posts by Tina of The Enchanted Home, Marsha from Splenderosa and Jeanne of I Dream Of (who creates the most gorgeous watercolor illustrations).
Via Aspiring Kennedy |
Another of my favorite bloggers and travel maven, Lauren, of Aspiring Kennedy (also known as mom to the cutest traveling baby in the world, the adorable Viola) has revamped her site to include an excellent travel section. And, seriously, is Viola not the most precious thing you have ever seen?
Do you suffer from travel commitment problems? Now there is a new web site where you can lock in the price of a plane ticket without committing to purchase the ticket?
Via Kate Spade |
I guess it isn’t too surprising that I am completely smitten with Kate Spade’s “Travel Colorfully” collection and theme for 2014 of “Places to Go…People to See”. I love their blog, which, in collaboration with Fathom, is very travel oriented…they have been featuring a different location each month – recently they have featured Capri, Paris and now Monaco! UPDATE: Kate Spade announced their Friends and Family Sale this morning – 25% off your entire purchase…#travelcolorfully! (use code S14FFUS)
That is a wrap, my friends! Have a wonderful weekend filled with sunshine and spring blossoms…wherever you may be wandering…
xoxo

SO EXCITING are all of these bloggers and their stories, art and lives. I kick myself now for having been too busy at the time Marsha asked me to participate in By Invitation Only; to create in such a sophisticated and lovely group of women would have been fun. Oh the places I want to go!

Thank you so much, Sandy, for the shout out! Glad you enjoyed the imaginary cruises we took this week. And aren't you just tickled that Sharon is taking us on a tour of Paris? I can't wait to see what she comes up with this weekend. Have fun in the city and good luck with your Easter Egg hunt! I'm doing the opposite – getting out of Seattle and taking a ferry across the Sound to Bainbridge Island for a weekend retreat – looking forward to the quiet.
Happy Friday! XOXO

That map looks wonderful Sandy and you have so many recommendations that I'm tempted to check out now too! Thanks! Love Everything and anything Kate Spade, thanks for the heads up on the sale, I may be able to finally get the Car bag I wanted!

OOOOOOH, you are loaded with all sorts of "d e l i c i o u s" today!
Back in the days of business travel, we ate at Sal Anthony's near Gramercy Park. I have a small collection of recipes that they would mail me now and then. I believe it closed in 2006.
Maialino sounds and looks lovely! My favorite restaurant is "a perfect neighborhood Italian"! (My grandfather once was head chef at an Italian restaurant in downtown Seattle.) …there I go again…story girl!
Love having coffee and wandering with you, Sandy!
Enjoy your weekend!

Oh Sandy,
You have so much here that is resonating with me!!! Of course, I was thrilled to find one of the big eggs. I wasn't even looking and suddenly, there it was. Magical!
Love the Grammercy Park Hotel….excited to hear what you thought. We went to A Voce…not a newcomer by any stretch, but it was my first time and it did not disappoint.
So happy you've highlighted many of my favorite bloggers and what they've been up to. I have some catching up to do!!
xoxo Elizabeth

Good evening dearest Sandy! Oh my friend, I am going to post once a month now. I will continue to visit others, I will never stop that! But as you know, there is so much time that goes into a blog post, and with so many people (myself NOT included) moving over to Facebook for socializing. It has slowed down things and I need to channel my writing energy toward the magazine and my poetry. HOWEVER, I will continue to post. I will always come to jump aboard to go wherever you want to take us! LOVE TO YOU! Anita
