So festive. The sunshine at the Hotel Del is tempting, but I think Claridge's tops my list… or maybe the George Cinq. Here in Seattle the Fairmont gets all decked out and hosts a holiday tea and the Sorrento is the picture of old world charm – perfect for a holiday cocktail.

The Hotel del Coronado is one of our go-to places to bring out of town visitors when they come to San Diego. They have the most beautiful beach in all of San Diego. We tried to do the ice skating a couple of years ago but were hampered by an extremely rare afternoon of rain. We'll have to try again!
