It is known as “George’s Folly” after George Washington
(remember the story about the cherry tree).
George’s Folly – serves 2
3 ounces Dry Gin
2 ounces fresh cherry juice
1 tablespoon heavy cream
1 egg white**
1 teaspoon rose water
Combine ingredients in a shaker over ice and shake for about 45 seconds,
pour into cocktail glass and enjoy!
**Egg whites are a traditional cocktail ingredient, they add body and frothiness without taste. Eggs can be found at the market that have been pasteurized so they are safe to eat raw. One brand that is easily found is Safest Choice Eggs.
